Welcome to our world, the world of Super Yachting. The path ahead is challenging but exceptionally rewarding, this guide is intended to assist with the best possible start to your training and to ensure post training we can keep our information as fresh and current as possible.
We have gone to great lengths to ensure that the most accurate and updated information is readily available. In an attempt to “Go Green,” we now offer this guide as an online version that can be constantly updated. The guide includes all information relevant to the industry, ranging from pre-departure red tape (visas, Seaman’s Discharge Book, and CVs) to dock walking, your first meeting with your captain, and career progression.
It also offers helpful tips and refreshers on how to make a fantastic, lasting impression in the industry and kick-start your new career on board.
Given the training you have received, the starter packs for putting together a professional portfolio, your post-training guides, and this manual, you are in a prime position to launch your career and make informed, professional decisions compared to your competition.
