This segment, known as ‘rules of the road,’ is like operating a road vehicle. As boaters, we too have things we should be doing when operating our vessels to ensure we do not collide with other craft. Any career progression goals crews have must start here. Applying yourself early to the ‘rules of the road’ will make you a more confident and safer tender operator, and also a handy assistant watchkeeper on the bridge.

Training Description
Crew will learn how to apply the various rules seafarers need to follow when encountering other vessels.
Crew will learn the importance of safe speed, good lookout and how to avoid collisions at sea
