Crew holding a recognised PW Instructor qualification can use this content as a refresher on ‘how to deliver’ the sessions. This content will also act as pre-course study for new instructors to make the practical instructors course as rewarding as possible. For crew who completed their qualification a long time ago, this can be an update on the latest form of delivery. The content shows safe speed operations for departure and alongside procedures, hand signals for communication with the crew observing guests, understanding momentum, high-speed operations and how to safely avoid other craft on the water. We have created some high-quality video content for guests, providing an overview of what to expect during the brief training on board. For crew, there is a-step by-step refresher on how to deliver each training section with video and other visual aids.
With standards of professionalism and safety at an all-time high in our industry, our goal is to apply these safe working practices to PW operations. PW’s today have the ability to accelerate very fast and can operate at extreme speeds. Having ill-equipped operators on personal watercraft is an unnecessary risk that can be significantly lowered with some brief, fun and quality instruction. These one-hour instructions will see accidents diminish worldwide – the ultimate goal.
